Most models start with a small and basic infotainment setup on the lower trim levels. Not the Blazer. The Chevy SUV kicks off its lineup with an intuitive 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system complete with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
All-New 2019 Chevy Blazer Feature and Engine Options
The base-level Blazer L comes through with a wealth of convenient standard features, including dual-zone automatic climate control and keyless access with push-button start. Browsing the higher trim levels, Chevrolet sweetens the deal with available features like a blind-spot warning system, heated and ventilated seats, a panoramic moonroof, a hands-free power liftgate and more! Another commendable feature is the available 360-degree camera. This system uses a network of cameras mounted around the vehicle to stitch together a 360-degree view of your vehicle’s surroundings, revealing hidden hazards and making maneuvering into tight spaces easier than ever.
The Blazer lineup brings two engine options to the table, each paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The standard engine for the front-wheel-drive Blazer is the 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine, good for 193 horsepower and 188 lb.-ft. of torque. At the top end of the trim structure, Blazer RS and Premier models get upgraded to a 3.6-liter V6 engine, offering a more athletic drive at 308 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque.
All-wheel-drive Blazer models also offer the V6 as standard. The model gives drivers the choice between a basic AWD system or GM’s twin-clutch all-wheel drive. Offered exclusively on Blazer RS and Premier models, the twin-clutch system can direct power to the outside rear wheel for more agile cornering.
