2019 Ford EcoSport New Features and Updates

As always, Ford uses the new model year as an opportunity to slide some popular features into the lower trim levels. This time, EcoSport models snag some standard goodies from the 2018 model’s Cold Weather Package. Windshield wiper de-icers are tacked onto the standard features list on SE, SES and Titanium models. The SES and Titanium continue to ward off brisk weather with a now-standard heated steering wheel and heated side mirrors.

The sporty variant of the EcoSport lineup, the SES trim level gets a particularly impressive revamp for 2019. On the 2018 model, we saw the SES suited with a collection of energizing Orange interior accents. For the 2019 model year, the SES switches tones, gaining a new set of Ano Grey appliqués that carry on the model’s distinct athletic appeal with a sleeker and more upscale finish.

That’s not it for the SES – Ford tacks on menacing good looks with the optional SES Black Appearance Package. The new Black Pack adds even more distinction to the already personality-packed EcoSport SES with a black-painted roof and black hood decal. With the package, the SES is available in three enticing colors, including the lineup's always-crisp Diamond White, sleek and metallic Moondust Silver and energizing Lightning Blue.

Ford carries over all of our other favorite colors from the 2018 lineup into the 2019 model, including Canyon Ridge, Smoke, Shadow Black, Race Red, Ruby Red, White Platinum and Blue Candy.
