2020 Ford Explorer vs 2020 Ford Edge
It isn’t unusual to primarily hear about the F-150 when speaking about Ford vehicles. However, the Ford brand also offers plenty of quality SUVs for families and individuals alike. Among these are the Ford Explorer and Ford Edge, both of which are back for 2020. But which one should you get? That’s what we’re here to find out!
To begin, the Ford Explorer has more space than the Ford Edge. So, if you frequently find yourself running out of space either for passengers or cargo, you might want to take a look at the Explorer over the Edge. However, if you’re fine with a moderate cargo space in your SUV and would rather have the nimble mobility of the Edge, then these two models are still in the race!

Advantages of the 2020 Ford Explorer
As you can see in the table above, you can find more power in the Explorer, which has 400 horsepower and 415 lb.-ft. of torque. However, the Edge isn’t far behind with its 335 hp and 380 lb.-ft. of torque. So, if you aren’t looking for the most powerful model, the Edge is a great model to pick. However, if you are looking to get every bit of power you can out of your SUV, then the Explorer is the one to look at.
Like we said previously, the Explorer does seat more people than the Edge. You’ll find you can fit 7 people into the explorer, while the Edge seats only 5. Now, some shoppers are looking for a smaller SUV, and therefore choose the Edge. However, if you do need that extra bit of room, then you’ll probably want to go with the Explorer.
